Dr. Russell Kilpatrick
Dr. Russell Kilpatrick is a Board-Certified Dermatologist who has been practicing medicine for over 40 years.
A graduate of Duke University Medical School, he completed his internship at Duke University Medical Center in general surgery, and his residency in dermatology at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He is also a retired Brigadier General of the U.S. Air Force.
Dr. Kilpatrick is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a recent past president of the North Carolina Dermatology Association. Additionally, he is an overseas Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine in the United Kingdom, having done some of his dermatology studies in Oxford, England.
Dr. Kilpatrick is also a member of the North Carolina Medical Society and of the Christian Medical-Dental Association. He grew up in Asheboro, North Carolina, and earned a bachelor’s degree at UNC Chapel Hill where he attended on a Morehead Scholarship.
Dr. Kilpatrick’s clinical experience spans the spectrum of general dermatology, including medical and surgical. In collaboration with Dr. Solomon, he offers comprehensive dermatology services at Preston Dermatology + Skin Surgery Center.
